Tagged: My Beauty Secrets

I just realized that I’ve been tagged by Charlene to do this meme. I don’t exactly have beauty secrets but considering I’m a little free, why not. :)

Foundation: I have quite sensitive skin, therefore I totally avoid foundation unless it’s absolutely necessary. I don’t own any foundation to be honest.

Blush: I don’t use blush either because my cheeks get pinkish/red easily, especially when it’s hot!

Lipstick: I used to wear lipstick however eventually developed some kind of allergy so I stopped buying lipstick. I only use either lip butter or gloss. My favorites are Body Shop’s Guarana Lip Butter and Mentholatum’s Lip Ice (Sheer Color - it’s clear when you first use it, then your lips turn pink!)

My Essential Beauty Product: Lip gloss & Mascara!

My favorite make up product: lip gloss, mascara & my limited edition Clinique Eye Shadow. (only available at the airport duty free shops)

Perfume: I’m a big fan of perfume (inherited this passion from my late grandmother). Some of my favourites include Cool by Polo Ralph Lauren, Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Charms, Davidoff’s Coolwater for Women & Still by Jennifer Lopez.

Nails: No preference.

Three Products to bring on a deserted island: I agree with Charlene, sun protection, mist and aftersun.

Feet: File-a-foot & Pumice from Body Shop, and of course moisturizing cream for the feet.

Hands: Mark & Spencer Aloe Hand & Nail Cream.

Women I admire for their beauty: My mum, I learned from her that we don’t necessarily need to use too many facial or beauty product to keep our skin healthy or to look beautiful.

Women with the best Sense of Style: no favorites.

My ultimate dream: is to age gracefully.

My ultimate Beauty Care: Simple facial wipes & Body Shop’s Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF 15.

My Essential Oil: None.

Body lotion: St. Ives Aloe & Chamomile Lotion & Happy Blossom European Flower Body Cream from Face Shop, this smells heavenly and best used before going to bed. Your partner will not want to let go of you, trust me, tried & tested!

Shower gel: I’m a shower gel collector, so I have too many to remember to even mentioned here. :)

There, simple girl with simple needs. I believe in going au natural. Ultimately, drinking lots of aqua (not forgetting milk for your bones and tomatoes for your skin), make sure you got your sun protection and eat healthy. :)

    I don’t use cosmetics due to 1)A ton of skin allergies and 2) I just don’t use makeup - unless I’ve been tied down and had some slapped on me against my will

    But I have never said no to a meme/tag so I will take up this challenge :)
