The Weekend To Be ~ Big Birthday Bash/Sabah F2 Powerboat Race
November 30, 2007 | Category: Miscellaneous
How does one get from one point of low to another point of high in less than 24 hours? My guess is as good as yours. But last night was a totally awesome night of fun and booze with good ol’ friends and newly made ones. I could feel the love in the air!
Oh yes before I forget, a big shout out to Shan whom I finally met at Shamrock last night! Hey Shan, even though it was a literally a hi and bye thing, it was great to finally meet you! Glad you had a good night! See you soon.
This past week had been a pretty hectic week for me, and it will spillover until end of next week as we’re organizing a function and I’m in charge. Sigh. A few good quiet nights at home really did me good especially after catching up with a huge amount amount of sleep I needed; not to mention being physically tired after the hectic run around in the early part of the week.
Life is good.
For now.
Looking forward to even a better weekend ahead. There will be so much going on, we’re only bracing ourselves for it.
Firstly, the Big Birthday Bash that we’re having. Maybe not so big afterall but I know my friends and I will make the best of it, regardless the number of attendees. It’s not about the number of people but it’s how much fun we make with the number we have. Even with that, do drop by if any of you have the time or energy to keep up with us. If you don’t have a cake to bring, we’ll provide one for you! There will only be limited numbers though so come early for your cake! Remember have you cake and eat it too!
After the partey, the lot of us will be heading to a nearby hotel for more booze. Heh. Just kidding. But this will be a closed event for selected invites only. Sorry.
As if Sabah hasn’t enough international events, for the first time ever we’ll be hosting the final leg of the F2 World Cup Powerboat Race, beginning tomorrow at 9.00am onwards and Sunday! The public can already start hanging out at the Waterfront today as early as 3.00pm for the driver’s practice. Be advised to go early if you want to get good seats and parking as certain roads will be closed to traffic. Those are not sure of the event program, please go here for a provisional one. It’s probably going to be a hot day so wear cotton and flip flops! Bring an umbrella in case of rain or those who are afraid of the sun, to shun away from it. Don’t forget your camera too, to snap away those hunky bods.
Be sure to be there or be square. I won’t be there tomorrow but I’ll be an early bird on Sunday. Look me up at Shamrock Irish Bar boardwalk (they’re open as early as 7.00am). See y’all there!

on November 30th, 2007Hello hello!
Heh I was pretty high when I came it and even more so when I left. God it’s been ages since I was in Shamrock. Bit of trivia - I was the Shamrock’s first official customer the day they first opened.
I had heard that they were serving Kilkenny’s on tap and I waited patiently outside for them to open their doors the day that they were ready to serve customers.
Talk about devotion to booze :)Hehe
