First Pit Stop

Greetings from the Land of the Hornbills!

I arrived here yesterday afternoon with my girlfriends and we’ve been nonstop ever since. I’ve taken this afternoon off to rest at the lodge. Yes, we’re all here for the Rainforest World Music Festival beginning today and for the next five days before we all head on to our final stop which is still a secret.

It has been quite a hectic two-days. Promised myself not to shop but girl being a girl, I manage to splurge on really pretty things they have here in Kuching. No more shopping anymore for me, will be saving the rest of the shopping for my next stop. Wee…! :D

I’ll try to keep everyone updated with my trip. A bunch of us will be heading out to the Sarawak Cultural Village tonight for the concert. We’re all very excited. We haven’t quite decided if we want to go for the workshops during the day, but we’ll see.

    gosh, i remember going the rainforest music festival few years ago, it was awesome man! i wish i have the chance to go for the next one.. :)

    That was the ultra secret mystery destination?
    I should have guessed, where else do Malaysians go at this time of the year, nearly went last year….
