Slaving Away

The neckaches are back and this time I can’t seem to turn my head to the left and up. It being a Monday isn’t helping especially when one’s got so much to do. I foresee a very long week ahead and it’s not going to get better with the Chinese New Year in just six days. Argh! I need more time for my baking and last minute CNY shopping!

Everything’s been rather slow, but at least most of my cookie baking is done. Yeah, sorry I just haven’t the time to snap any photos of it. Everything else is just stagnant there, my room is still in utter complete mess not to mention my three week old laundry that’s been sitting in the basket. I know it sounds disgusting, I can’t help it I’m a busy woman! Plus I haven’t gotten around to get my new towel, shoes (or flip flops would do) and top(s) this new year.

I’ve got a couple of orders of cupcakes for Valentine’s Day too. Not that I hate getting orders, I love it just that time is a major factor for me at the mo. So anyone who wants to order cupcakes for Valentine’s Day, please do so by this evening (okay, I know it’s last minute). Min order is 10 cupcakes at RM2 each. Unfortunately I will have to suggest a maximum of 20 cupcakes because I simply don’t have enough time. Any extra order on top of 20 cupcakes I will have to charge double, I’m sorry. Just FYI, don’t expect a professionally made/decorated cupcake, afterall this is HOMEMADE. PS: Confectioner is not professionally trained.

If you’re wondering, yes it’s the business I’ve been meaning to tell everyone. It’s still at a very infant stage, considering I haven’t had a proper name! Suggestions are welcome. :) I’m thinking of starting a site just for it, but give me time to do it. I’m just so overloaded and overwhelmed with too many things.

As usual work is drag today, I wish I had more of my cloned-self. Things would certainly be better off, not having to worry about my baking for the next few days and the work that has (again) been pilling up out of nowhere. My fellow comrades in the office aren’t much of help either. Can I strangle them now?

Once again I apologize for such a noodle post, can’t help it…need to rant a little.

NOTE:
Again, suggestions are welcome for my newly found profession & mini-biz. In case, you didn’t know what I’m into right now. I’m into baking, I mostly bake cakes and cupcakes part-time (or when I have the time). I’m currently in the process of considering the flavours of cakes/cupcakes to sell.     That’s great news, about your new business! I’m so happy for you that you get to do something you enjoy and are marvellous at (don’t forget… I’ve tasted your cupcakes before… hehehe).

    Thanks Irene! My business is very small, don’t even have a trading license :) I’m glad you like my cupcakes ;)
