At Long Last

It has been nearly two months since I last heard from him. Today he text messaged me. He’s currently in another state doing training with a group of classified techs. Hmm…yes, I know you must be wondering what does he do. Well, if I told you, I’d have to kill you. No I’m just pulling your legs. No I’m serious. You be the judge. Anyways, he’s away for a few months and will be off to another country after that. Now you see what I mean by a very very complicated relationship, hence no relationship.

A friend was asking me last night. “How do you keep up with it? Being all unemotional and the whole shebang.”

I replied her, “I’m not being unemotional, it’s just that when you know something that isn’t going to last why put your all into it. At the end of the day, I know I’m going to be hurt so I just don’t feel. Although I must admit I’m completely shitless when it comes to goodbyes.”

And I’ve learn that with him, I don’t know how I got to that point but I did. I’ve said it once before that I am getting exasperated with the whole temporary scenario. It’s never good, well at least not forever. As of right now, I’m just going to keep being estatic the way I am.

    Hi Dee, just wondering if it was you at Shamrock on Saturday night? Thot u looked familiar and wanted to come over to say hi but by the time we stopped long enough to put down our drinks and walk over, you (if it indeed was you) had left.
