Of Cupcakes & Kisses

It was Karen’s birthday last week, so I decided to bake her some cupcakes. We met up at Shamrock on Saturday night and indulged in some very fattening dessert.

I know! Doesn’t the decoration look familiar?? *grins* I know it’s nothing at all like cuppacakes or any of these here but I’m trying. I still need to learn how to decorate the cupcakes and mom was mentioning she will get her friend to teach me, for free! *jumps for joy* I had to go to numerous places to get the coloring and flower icing and what not. I’m glad Karen loved it (she had 4 cupcakes!). This is her with my creations.

Little Kisses

I baked quite a number of them cupcakes so we gave them to all the other patrons at Shamrock.

It was a slow night, nevertheless we had a blast as usual.

    The cupcakes are cute!! It seems like b’day cakes have turned into mini cakes these days. Just a few weeks ago, some were made for a friends b’day too except they were presented in a floral arrangement.

    Lil’Joy: Thank you too! Yes, she loved it…she had total 4 and brought home more too. hehe. :)

    Jess: Thank you :) Baking cupcakes only take 20mins depending on how many you bake at a time.

    PJ: Haha…no worries…just wondering who’s the other person who does cupcakes in our area.

    cmelly: It definitely tastes yummy…err…according to my friends. :)
