My Heart’s Monologue

April 28, 2005 | Category: Love & Relationships

The feeling of uncertainty has come to besiege me,
A feeling that inhibited into my very soul,
I’m not a soul of serenity as the smile may perceive,
Yet it shivers down my spine.

I was so tangled up in my own webs of cheer,
Sweet eternal bliss, celestial dreams of mine,
Emotions lay scattered, secrets of heart and mind,
To know what’s behind them has got mesmerized me.

The ashes of grey spread among my soul,
From the constant burning of my heart,
Yearning for what can never be,
This is the monologue of my heart.

(author’s note: something has come over me, something I cannot explain.)
